Head Start Teacher at BECEP (2017-18 School Year)

TITLE: BECEP Head Start Classroom Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS: Preference given to BA/BS or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field which includes 6 or more credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development &
Valid ND Teaching Certificate.

Any individual hired without a BA/BS or advanced degree in
Early Childhood Education or a related field must have a
minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education as a term of employment. Current physical examination and TB screening documentation upon hire.

Starting salary: $45,700 - $65,970

Head Start Enrichment Teacher (2017-18 School Year)

Application deadline date: Wed., April 12, 2017

The Enrichment Teacher will provide enrichment programming in the areas of art, movement, and music in the Head Start classrooms for 3-5 year olds.

This position is 270 hours for the year. Nine hours a week for 30 weeks.

Starting salary: $32.58 - $47.03 DOE

Social Studies Teacher - Bismarck High School

Bismarck Public Schools is seeking to hire a social studies teacher at Bismarck High School. This is a one year contract to fill a leave of absence for first semester only of the 2017-18 school year.

Qualifications:
1. A valid ND Teaching Certificate
2. Highly qualified in social studies

Starting salary range: $22,850 - $32,985

4th and 5th grade Teaching Positions (2017-2018 school year)

Principals will select applicants from this pool of applications to interview for their specific 4th and 5th grade openings.

Valid North Dakota teaching license in elementary education

Spanish Teacher - Legacy High School

Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

Application deadline date: Fri., March 31, 2017

This position involves teaching children ages 3 to 5 who qualify for an Individual Education Program (IEP) in a BECEP classroom and/or in a community preschool or the child's home. The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher will have a caseload of children with an IEP, and also act as a regular education preschool teacher teaching a classroom of preschoolers with and without an IEP.

Starting salary range: $45,700 to $65,970

Graphic Arts Teacher - Career Academy

Application deadline date: Fri., April 7, 2017

Full time Graphic Arts teacher at the Bismarck Public Schools Career Academy.

Person would need to have graphic artist experience. Instructor needs to have a CTE certificate as a Graphic Art instructor; or,
four years of experience as a graphic artist in the past five years; or, have a two year Graphic Art degree with two years of experience in lieu of the certificate.

The candidate would need to go through the Transition to Teaching program.

Starting salary range: $45,700 - $60,392


Carpentry Instructor (2017-18 School Year)

Bismarck Public Schools is seeking to hire a carpentry instructor at the Bismarck Public Schools Career Academy.

Instructor must have 8000 hours of carpentry experience or a two year degree with 4000 hours.

Experience in building a house is essential for this position.

Qualifications:
1. A valid ND Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one
2. 8000 hours of carpentry experience or a two year degree with 4000 hours
3. Experience in building a house, preferred
