Bismarck Public Schools is seeking to hire a high school math teacher.

1. A valid North Dakota teaching certificate
2. Bachelor degree in Secondary Math Education

Spanish Teacher - Legacy High School

Bismarck Public Schools is seeking to hire a Spanish teacher. This position is currently at Legacy High School.

1. A valid ND teaching certificate
2. Highly qualified to teach Spanish

Elementary Behavior Strategist

Application deadline date: Fri., July 29, 2016

TITLE: Elementary Behavioral Strategist

1. A Bachelor's degree in Education
2. A valid North Dakota Teaching license
3. Two years experience working with students and families
4. Experience working with behavior plans, teaching social skills and anger management
5. Experience with Response to Intervention (RTI) & MTSS-B
6. Experience with computers for data management

SALARY CLASSIFICATION: Teacher Salary Schedule (Teacher)

REPORTS TO: Principal, Jeannette Myhre Elementary School
Title 1 Coordinator

JOB GOAL: To develop, organize and be responsible for a Planning/
Sensory Room, along with creating, implementing, and monitoring
behavior plans, scheduling behavior plan reviews and student sensory breaks. Provide daily mentoring and coaching support for staff and students on our school-wide approach to behavior (Second Step, Conscious Discipline, Zones of Regulation), provide professional development opportunities for staff that embeds current research and self-regulation behavior strategies for students, as well as create and design a recess/lunch program that supports peer coaching and self-regulation for students.

Starting salary range: $45,700 to $65,970

Title I Reading & Math Specialist

This position will involve working with individuals or small groups of students on approved targeted interventions.

1. Candidate must have a valid North Dakota Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one
2. Candidate must hold Title I Reading and Math Credentials or have a plan in place to obtain such credentials

JOB GOAL: Move students to grade level literacy and math skills using targeted interventions

Starting salary range: $45,700 to $65,970
