9 month position

Choir Accompanist - Legacy High School

Application deadline date: August 29, 2014

9:14-11:52, 12:50-1:40 Monday through Friday plus occasional concerts throughout the school year. Flexibility in daily scheduling to work around conflicts.

Starting salary: $15.22 per hour

Technology Support Specialist

Full time/12 month position
Application deadline date: August 29. 2014

Position requires an Associates Degree in a technology field and 2 years of experience.

The person in this position will support users face-to-face and through phone communication and remote administration via the department HelpDesk. Knowledge and skill in maintaining and trouble-shooting a wide variety of computer hardware, software, and applications is required. Documentation of issues and solutions and the abilitity to effectively manage warranty repairs is critical. Individual must have strong writing skills. Individual must
provide excellent customer service (internal and external) . Some service criteria include listening, communicating, being courteous and patient, and providing timely and effective solutions.

Starting salary: $21.66 per hour


Bus Monitor

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. The ability to work with children in a competent matter.
3. Basic First Aid and CPR.

Reports To: Transportation Supervisor

Salary Classification: Step 3 - Support Staff Salary Schedule
Starting salary: $12.79 per hour

Job Goal: To assist in providing safe transportation, as needed, to enhance the education and activities within the Bismarck Public School District.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus. **
2. Assist young and/or handicapped students in getting on and off of the bus. This includes
knowledge of seat restraints systems to secure handicapped students. **
3. Assure that students get on and off the bus in an orderly manner. **
4. Make recommendations that will provide better transportation services to the students.
**
5. Assist substitute drivers in navigating daily routes, as needed. **
6. Report any incidents to the Transportation Coordinator.

The performance responsibilities and duties may change at any time depending on the needs of the Bismarck Public School District.

Secretary I - Hughes Education Center

Job Goal: Provide additional support in Central Registration and Accounting Department.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Schedule appointments to register new BPS students.
Meet with parents to complete the registration process, this includes obtaining necessary documents.
Enter new student information into PowerSchool and update information.
Communicate with schools concerning new students.
Scan employee records into Laserfische
Process Accounts Payable invoices - Data Entry
Verify and send out Accounts Payable checks
Upkeep of employee files
Process deposits, as backup
Prepare files for destruction
Student information data maintenance - Camp Ed/Address Verification

Starting salary rage: $12.79 per hour

Instructional Aides - Elementary/Secondary (2014-2015)

Instructional Aide positions are filled throughout the year from a pool of qualified applicants. Additional education and/or experience may be required for specific aide positions. Number of hours per day and hourly rate may vary by position.

This posting is for Instructional Aide positions through the end of October, 2014.

Starting salary: $12.79 - $15.22

Substitute Custodian

Step 4 - full-time position

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Starting salary: $13.32 per hour
