Produce Distribution Manager

Application deadline date: Tues., June 7, 2016

INTERNAL POSTING ONLY

Order and receive produce inventory from vendor.
Place and receive orders for produce from DOD grant.
Manage all incoming orders from kitchen managers.
Prepare (wash/cut/slice) produce brought into produce distribution center and redistribute appropriate portions based on managers' orders.
Other duties as assigned.

This position is 25 hours per week and follows the school calendar.

Starting salary: $15.67 per hour

Cook Manager - Century High School

Application deadline date: Tues., May 24, 2016

The individual hired for this position will complete food and beverage orders, receive and monitor inventory, prepare meals, and manage kitchen staff.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Cooking experience
3. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, extended periods of standing, along with bending and stooping

Starting salary: $20.42 per hour

Day Treatment Aide - Riverside Educational Center

Application deadline date: Tues., May 31, 2016

Assist the teacher and social worker in providing services to students with mental health needs in an educational setting. CPI training and mental health experience/knowledge preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent and additional specialized training
or
2. High school diploma and one year of experience
or
3. Two years of college course work or an equivalent of specialized training
and
4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 10% to 25% of a work shift
and
5. Ability to obtain a ND Paraeducator Certificate

JOB GOAL: To assist the teacher and/or program specialist to achieve teaching objectives by working with students individually or in small groups.

Starting salary: $15.67 per hour

Instructional Aide Transfer Request (2016-17 School Year)

Internal Displaced Instructional Aide Transfer (2016-17 School Year)

Instructional Aides who will be displaced from their 2015-16 school year position can submit a job application for an internal transfer for the 2016-17 school year. This will allow principals to view applicants for vacant positions.


AVID Tutors

Application deadline date: Fri., September 30, 2016

Tutors are key to the success of the AVID program. AVID tutors from colleges and universities are trained to use specific teaching methodologies and materials to facilitate the AVID tutorial process. Tutors work with AVID students in tutorial groups, assisting in all academic areas to make progress towards college readiness. AVID tutorials occur in small groups (7:1 student to tutor ratio). Tutors lead tutorial sessions through inquiry and collaboration to help students determine answers to their questions on their own and by working with fellow students.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
Current college student or college graduate

Special Knowledge/Skills:
AVID tutors are motivated, organized, responsible, successful college students or college graduates who believe all students can succeed. AVID tutors work in a supportive manner with secondary students (middle and high school), district, and campus personnel. AVID tutors serve as tutorial facilitators and do not act in a teacher or substitute teacher capacity. AVID tutors will need to complete required training to participate in this program.

AVID Tutor positions are filled throughout the year from a pool of qualified applicants.

Starting salary: $11.14 per hour

Instructional Aides - Elementary/Secondary (2015-2016)

Instructional Aide positions are filled throughout the year from a pool of qualified applicants. Additional education and/or experience may be required for specific aide positions. Number of hours per day and hourly rate may vary by position.

This posting is for Instructional Aide positions through June 3, 2016.

We will list a job posting for instructional aides for the 2016-17 school year this summer in July or August once we know what positions we need to fill.

Substitute Bus Drivers

Substitute bus drivers are needed in the district to drive for activity trips and fill in on bus routes as needed.
