Library Aide - Century High School

Application deadline date: January 30, 2015

Qualifications:
1. Prefer post high-school experience and/or education in the following fields: Instructional Development K-12; libraries; and technologies
2. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technology skills
3. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds

Job goal: To assist the LMS with library services; to provide guidance and supervision for students with the
direction of the classroom teacher and/or the library media specialist; and to provide support to the LMS in all other
aspects of the district library curriculum plan.

This is a 40 hour per week position that follows the school calendar. Benefits included.

Starting salary: $13.93 per hour

Detention/Study Hall Supervisor - Simle Middle School

Application deadline date: February 3, 2015

This person will assist with Detention and In-School Suspension as well as other student supports as needed.

This position is for the remainder of the 2014-2015 School Year only. This is an 8 hour per day position that follows the school calendar.

Starting salary: $18.17 per hour

Carpenter - Bismarck Public Schools

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Minimum 3 years Carpentry Experience in Commercial and/or Residential construction.


PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Must hold a valid driver's license and be responsible for assigned vehicle.

2. Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.

3 Experience must include knowledge in the following:
a. Mathematical and Analytical skills to compute measurements.
b. The reading of blue prints.
c. Installation of windows, doors, locks, carpet, and vinyl flooring.
d. The installation and fabrication of cabinets and counter tops.

4. Responsible for Safe operation of tools and equipment used in the Construction trades.

5. Ability to plan, organize, and complete tasks in the shortest and most efficient manner.

6. Ability to communicate and resolve individual problems associated with work order requests.

7. Maintain an optimistic outlook when faced with difficulties.

8. Responsible for a clean well organized carpentry work area.

9. Responsible for the security of tools, materials, and supplies.
10. Occasionally the position will require the employee to work irregular or extended hours.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Terms of Employment: This is a full time, year-round position.

Starting salary: $21.66 per hour


Assistant Cook - Legacy High School

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Experience in cooking
3. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, extended periods of standing, along with bending and stooping

Job Goal: To serve students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and warmth.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure that federal, state, and city health standards are followed. **
2. Follows serving size and meal pattern requirements as determined by the USDA. **
3. Prepares and serves food from a planned menu using tested and uniform recipes and determines the finished product is of best quality, both in flavor and appearance, before it is served. **
4. Setup, maintain, and monitor service lines during meal service.
5. Perform annual clean-up of work area, food storage room, and equipment in preparation for the new school year. **
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

The performance responsibilities and duties may change at any time depending on the needs of the district.

This position is 4 hours per day and follows the school calendar.

Starting salary: $12.79 per hour

Instructional Aides - Elementary/Secondary (2014-2015)

Instructional Aide positions are filled throughout the year from a pool of qualified applicants. Additional education and/or experience may be required for specific aide positions. Number of hours per day and hourly rate may vary by position.

This posting is for Instructional Aide positions through the end of February 2015.

Starting salary: $12.79 - $15.22

Substitute Instructional Aides - Elementary/Secondary Schools

Substitute instructional aides are needed in the elementary and secondary schools to fill in for staff throughout the
year. These positions are flexible and can work around your schedule.

We will accept applications throughout the school year. Please
contact the Human Resources office at 701-323-4070 and notify them of your interest in working as a sub aide after you have completed the online application.

Hourly rate ranges from $12.79 - $15.22.

Substitute Custodian

Step 4 - full-time position

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Starting salary: $13.32 per hour
