Technology Student Worker - Bismarck Public Schools

Bismarck Public Schools is seeking a student worker to assist the technology department staff with projects including
computer support and troubleshooting, warranty repair processes, computer imaging, inventory, and web 2.0.
product production. The schedule is flexible with up to 10 hours per week during the school year and the potential
for more hours offered during the summer months.

Job duties:
Implements the Helpdesk and completes assigned Helpdesk tickets. Including insuring courteous, timely,
and effective resolutions to end-user issues.
Maintains and repairs computer hardware, software, and other district technologies.
Deploys and installs new and used technology equipment.
Follows standardized procedures for deployment, quality control, inventory, warranty repair, etc.
Assists with other tasks and projects as needed.

Salary: $10.81 per hour

Technology Temporary Worker - Bismarck Public Schools

Application deadline date: October 31, 2014

This is a temporary, hourly position for November 2014 through August of 2015. The total number of days allocated for this work is approximately 50 depending on district needs.

This individual will work with current technology staff to install wireless access points, camera wiring, audio enhancement equipment, multimedia projectors, printers, and assist with other technology deployments.

The individual in this position will be assigned other tasks such as inventory and disposal of equipment for recycling. Experience with a variety of electronics and computer/printer technology is desired.

Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb and work from ladders, move up and down running cable and wiring.

Candidate must have a valid driver's license.

Starting salary: $10.82 to $16.62 per hour

Library Assistant - Sunrise Elementary School

Application deadline date: October 31, 2014
7 hours per day/9 month position

Job Goal: To assist the Library Media Specialist (LMS) with library services; to provide guidance and supervision for students with the direction of the classroom teacher and/or the LMS; and to provide
support to the LMS in all other aspects of the district library curriculum plan.

Qualifications: High school diploma. Prefer post high school experience and/or education in the following fields: Instructional Development K-12; libraries; computers; audiovisual materials; and other technologies. The position involves a great deal of physical activity. The library assistant will work independently and under supervision and will need to cope with shifting job priorities. The applicant should possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technology skills.

Starting salary: $15.22 per hour

Instructional Aide positions are filled throughout the year from a pool of qualified applicants. Additional education and/or experience may be required for specific aide positions. Number of hours per day and hourly rate may vary by position.

Starting salary: $12.79 - $15.22

Substitute Instructional Aides - Elementary/Secondary Schools

Substitute instructional aides are needed in the elementary and secondary schools to fill in for staff throughout the
year. These positions are flexible and can work around your schedule.

Hourly rate ranges from $12.79 - $15.22.

Substitute Custodian

Step 4 - full-time position
