High scorers!
Three juniors from Century High School are high scorers in the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. They are Jeff Gendreau, Taylor Oster, and Kristine Strege. Only 50,000 of 1.5 million students received high scores of 200 or above. Of the 50,000, about 16,000 of them will be named National Merit Semifinalists in September, the rest will be commended for their performance on the exam.
